Job summary

Cantina in Los Angeles is seeking a Head of Content to build a scalable content operation for Cantina Labs across 75+ niche areas. You’ll recruit and lead a network of 100 content producers and video editors, shaping briefs and assembling teams to produce high-production-value, character-driven videos at pace.

You’ll own multichannel strategy with a focus on viral content on X, turn new features into launches, and partner with product to translate creator feedback into product improvements.

Qualifications

• Experience building and running high-output social content teams with 100,000+ followers.
• Ability to recruit and manage a large (20+ person) creator operation.
• Proven viral content, especially on X, and understanding of its culture and formats.
• Excellent taste: can spot a great concept early and explain why it works.
• Strong writing and storytelling across briefs, scripts, and social copy.
• Hands-on experience with video editing, motion graphics, and AI-native production workflows.

Responsibilities

• Define multichannel social content strategy with focus on viral content on X.
• Turn new features into launches, tutorials, showcases, and recurring series.
• Build a content program across 75+ niches and manage creator network.
• Recruit and manage a team of 100 content producers and editors.
• Write scripts and briefs, pitch ideas, and assist with edits as needed.
• Develop workflows for AI generation, editing, review, publishing, and iteration.
• Partner with product to translate creator feedback into product updates.
• Track reach, retention, shares, product visits, signups, and activation.
