Job summary

Cantina is seeking a Head of Content in Los Angeles to lead a high-output network of 100 content producers and editors, crafting character-driven videos across 75+ niches. You’ll shape multichannel strategy, pitch ideas daily, and ensure briefs and production systems keep teams moving.

You’ll moderate workflows for AI-native production, collaborate with product, and measure impact across reach, shares, and activations to drive growth and engagement.

Qualifications

• Track record of creating viral social content, especially on X, and understanding platform culture.
• Experience building and running high-output content teams across 100k+ follower accounts.
• Strong writing and storytelling across briefs, scripts, social copy, and educational content.
• Hands-on experience with video editing, motion graphics, and AI-native production workflows.

Responsibilities

• Define multichannel social content strategy with a focus on viral formats for X and other platforms.
• Turn features into launches, tutorials, showcases, and recurring series that audiences share.
• Build a content program across 75+ niches by recruiting creators and defining formats for each community.
• Recruit and manage a team of 100 content producers and video editors, supported by clear briefs and a production system.
• Stay hands-on by pitching ideas, writing scripts, making example videos, and contributing to edits as needed.
• Develop workflows for AI generation, editing, motion graphics, review, publishing, and rapid iteration.
• Partner with product to showcase capabilities and incorporate creator feedback into development.
• Track metrics like reach, retention, shares, signups, and activation to optimize content.
