Job summary

Motorola Solutions is seeking a Director of Computer Vision to lead the long-term research and engineering roadmap for the CV platform. You will shape architecture, drive AI infrastructure and MLOps, and unify global teams across geographies to deliver scalable vision solutions.

You will champion performance metrics, guide technical strategy, and translate customer needs into executable roadmaps while maintaining startup agility in a large enterprise context.

Qualifications

• Foundational Research Strategy: Define long-term research agenda for computer vision capabilities.
• Technical Vision, Engineering Leadership, and Execution: Provide executive technical leadership and define architecture and roadmap for the Computer Vision Platform.
• Organizational Leadership and Talent Strategy: Manage and scale a distributed research and engineering org, recruiting and mentoring talent.
• End-to-End MLOps and Deployment: Own ML lifecycle, scalable training, deployment, monitoring, and optimization.
• Performance Measurement and Continuous Improvement: Define and track metrics like latency, throughput, and reliability.
• Technical Innovation and Risk Management: Evaluate cutting-edge CV research and mitigate risks.

Responsibilities

• Define the architectural vision for AI infrastructure and models.
• Lead parts of the organization across geographies with clear roadmaps.
• Drive 0-to-1 product development with focus on enterprise-scale platforms.
• Oversee recruitment and mentorship of senior technical talent.
• Champion MLOps best practices across edge and cloud deployments.
