Job summary

Alpha seeks a Director of Community Relations to drive enrollment growth through personal referrals in key regions. You will design and host gatherings, recruit parent ambassadors, and build partnerships with public officials and business leaders to support new campus openings and student opportunities.

You will manage budgets, track outcomes in CRM, and coordinate alumni connections, masterclasses and internships. This is a full-time, on-site role based in major U.S.

Qualifications

• At least five years of experience growing a community or client base through relationships with measurable results.
• Design and run at least 20 gatherings in total, including three events with 100+ attendees and ten with 12 or fewer, with budget responsibility.
• Established relationships with at least three elected/appointed officials, executives or founders, with demonstrable outcomes.
• One of the listed advanced qualifications (Ivy League degree, top firm background, board seat, Chief of Staff, or foreign service tours).
• CRM or relationship-tracking system used consistently to record contacts and sources of referrals.

Responsibilities

• Make personal referrals the main source of enrollment growth in your region.
• Plan and host multiple gatherings monthly (open events, city/grade dinners, family retreats) within budget.
• Recruit and coach parent ambassadors and match with prospective families.
• Build relationships with public officials and executives to secure venues and opportunities for students.
• Connect enrolled families to alumni networks, mentors and internships; welcome graduates within 30 days.
• Record all gatherings and introductions in the CRM with clear source attribution.
