The role oversees engineering strategy for Commercial and Business Banking Sales, Lending, and Credit platforms, with a ~90 person team and hybrid work requiring relocation to Buffalo, NY.

Qualifications

• Minimum 15 years of combined education and/or work experience, including: 4+ years of engineering and/or architecture experience.
• Minimum 11 years of large technology management and/or program leadership with people leadership.
• Experience delivering solutions using Agile methodologies and a deep understanding of SDLC, architecture, integration patterns, and enterprise delivery practices.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute the technology roadmap for Commercial and Business Banking Sales, Lending, and Credit platforms.
• Lead multiple engineering teams to build, integrate, modernize, and support core platforms.
• Partner with business stakeholders across Commercial Banking, Business Banking, Sales, Lending and Credit to shape roadmaps and investments.
• Drive modernization initiatives: cloud adoption, automation, and digital capabilities.
• Ensure governance, risk, and compliance across platforms, with strong incident management and resiliency planning.
