Job summary

IREN is seeking a Director, Sustainability Disclosure & Reporting to lead our end-to-end sustainability reporting program across North America, Europe and APAC. You will own IFRS S2/ISSB-aligned disclosures, climate risk assessment, and the preparation of external reports with assurance readiness.

You will manage external assurance engagements, collaborate with Legal, Finance and Risk, and build repeatable, audit-ready reporting processes while shaping public disclosures and stakeholder

Qualifications

• Typically 10-15 years of experience in sustainability/climate reporting.
• Strong written and verbal communication for external audiences.
• Experience with public disclosures and relevant reporting frameworks (IFRS S2/ISSB, GHG Protocol).
• Experience managing external assurance engagements and audit-ready evidence.

Responsibilities

• Own the emissions inventory methodology and boundaries.
• Lead annual statutory climate disclosure cycles and associated workplans.
• Manage external assurance relationships and scope expansion.
• Partner with Legal, Finance, and Commercial teams to ensure accurate disclosures.
• Provide senior guidance on writing and disclosure content produced by the team.
• Build repeatable, audit-ready reporting processes and calendars.
