Job summary

IREN is seeking a Director, Supply Chain Governance, Risk and Intelligence to modernize global supplier management, risk mitigation and market insights. This leader will architect systems and frameworks, drive multi-year roadmaps, and partner with Technical Sourcing, Planning, Hardware Procurement and more to scale capabilities for data center products.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, information systems, engineering, business, or related field.
• 12+ years of progressive supply chain technology leadership experience.
• Strong background in market intelligence in hyperscaler/neocloud industries.
• Experience in cost management and benchmarking.
• Experience managing supplier relationships and performance.
• Experience delivering governance, KPI frameworks, and supplier scorecards.
• Experience with AI/ML and automation use cases in risk and governance.

Responsibilities

• Co-develop IREN’s supply chain supplier and risk management strategy with the Sr. Director, Strategy and Transformation, and own the framework and tools portfolio and multi-year systems roadmap.
• Build and lead a high-performing team, establishing best practices, KPIs, and governance cadences as IREN’s application portfolio scales.
• Partner with internal teams to capture existing processes and develop a prioritized implementation roadmap with clear business outcomes.
• Establish a supplier management framework and templates for Executive and Quarterly Business Reviews with suppliers and scorecards.
• Establish a risk management framework to govern sourcing strategies, supplier selection and performance.
• Establish a market intelligence framework to gain insights and inform decisions, including cost and supply insights.
• Understand business requirements and translate them into solutions.
• Own process and compliance documentation for use across organization.
• Identify, prioritize, and deploy AI/ML and automation use cases across risk, supplier performance and governance.
• Develop and manage relationships with systems implementation partners to ensure delivery, cost, and quality.
• Identify the critical skillsets needed to support and advance capabilities across the supply chain portfolio.
