Job summary

IREN is a vertically integrated AI Cloud provider delivering data centers and GPU clusters for AI workloads. The Director, Sustainability Disclosure & Reporting will lead IREN's sustainability reporting end-to-end, including methodology, assurance readiness and relationships with external reporting frameworks.

The role requires 10–15 years in sustainability reporting, exceptional communication, and deep knowledge of IFRS S2 / ISSB-aligned disclosures and the GHG Protocol.

Qualifications

• Typically 10-15 years of experience in sustainability / climate reporting, or related field with external-facing report writing experience.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills for external audiences.
• Working knowledge of legal, financial, and commercial considerations for public disclosures.
• Deep knowledge of IFRS S2 / ISSB-aligned disclosure and the GHG Protocol.
• Experience managing external assurance engagements for sustainability or financial disclosures.
• Strong understanding of reporting controls, audit-ready evidence, and data preparation.

Responsibilities

• Own delivery of IREN's sustainability disclosures and reports end-to-end.
• Lead the annual IFRS S2 / climate disclosure cycle, including process, methodology and board papers.
• Manage external assurance relationships and quarterly close controls.
• Own the emissions inventory methodology and boundaries.
• Engage with external reporting frameworks and sustainability orgs.
• Partner with Legal, Finance, and Commercial teams to ensure accurate disclosures.
• Support the Head of Sustainability on external engagement.
• Provide day-to-day direction to the team on disclosure work.
• Ensure consistency of customer-facing disclosures with published reports.
• Build repeatable reporting processes and audit-ready documentation.
