Job summary

Dentsu Media in Chicago is seeking a seasoned Chief Client Solutions Officer to lead client operations across North America’s media agencies. You will design operating models, embed AI and data-driven solutions, and build repeatable frameworks that scale across large enterprise clients.

This role partners with agency leadership to drive performance, grow strategic partnerships, and ensure flawless delivery from planning through reporting, while shaping how the practice operates.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of progressive leadership in media, marketing services or management consulting.
• Ownership of operating model design and implementation at scale.
• Experience designing custom operational solutions for enterprise clients.
• Senior relationships with large advertisers, including CMO, procurement and ops stakeholders.
• Strong command of media agency economics: fees, scope, resourcing, costs.
• Experience building resourcing plans across onshore, nearshore and offshore models.
• Practical experience applying AI and automation to professional services delivery.
• Proven change leadership in complex, matrixed organizations.
• Based in Chicago or willing to relocate with regular in-office presence and travel.

Responsibilities

• Build and lead the client operations discipline across North America media agencies.
• Define operating standards for account teams: ways of working, decision rights, workflows, reporting cadence.
• Design and implement custom operational frameworks for large clients.
• Streamline workflows across planning, activation, ad operations, finance and reporting.
• Set delivery quality standards with QA protocols.
• Build and develop a high-performing client operations team.
• Establish a framework for client health across the practice.
• Build dashboards and reporting for leadership visibility.
• Partner with agency CEOs on action plans that turn insight into work.
• Identify and lead end-to-end operational solutions; handle scope, pricing, resourcing with Finance/Commercial.
• Codify successful client solutions into repeatable frameworks.
• Bring data/identity, creative, CXM, commerce and technology into client plans.
• Contribute operating model design to renewals and new business.
