Job summary

The Cigna Group is seeking a strategic leader to manage the CORE East Client Management team for Global Health Benefits across the Americas. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a related field; MBA preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in account management or benefits consulting.
• 5+ years of employee benefit experience.
• Prior management/supervisory experience.
• Strong understanding of global health benefits landscape and multinational client needs preferred.
• Exceptional relationship and account management skills; strong negotiation and renewal capabilities.
• Strong ability to partner with internal and external resources to achieve objectives.
• Collaborate, communicate and influence to create win-win solutions.
• Demonstrated consultative client management methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Directly manages a team of Client Managers and is accountable for overall performance of the CORE East Team portfolio against key measures.
• Drives portfolio management and renewal execution across CORE East, identifying retention and earnings risks and developing client-specific strategies.
• Accountable for talent development, leadership and coaching to grow professionals and move the business forward.
• Serves in a market-facing leadership capacity for CORE East accounts and broker relationships with executive reviews and renewal discussions.
• Develops strong internal relationships across Sales, Underwriting, Finance, Operations, Clinical, Network, Product and other functions.
• Translates annual Client Management goals into team objectives and operating rhythms; ensures disciplined account planning and risk management.
• Leads through complex client and broker escalations with executive communication and timely resolutions.
• Supports business planning for CORE segment including growth opportunities and client value demonstration.
• Acts as a senior voice for CORE East needs and promotes best practices across Client Management and matrix partners.
• Establishes partnerships within other areas of The Cigna Group (CHC domestic, Evernorth, International Health) as needed.
