Forward Air Corporation seeks a Director of Claims to lead the organization’s claims management across a distributed LTL, brokerage, and multimodal network. You will own the financial performance, governance, and continuous improvement of claims operations.

You will partner with Operations, Legal, Risk, and Insurance, develop analytics and dashboards, set governance frameworks, and coach a remote team to drive cost containment, regulatory compliance, and customer-focused outcomes.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Risk, Transportation, or related field.
• 8+ years in claims or risk management with leadership experience.
• Experience in LTL, brokerage, multimodal transportation.
• Ability to lead remote, multi-site teams.
• Strong analytics, financial metrics, and data-driven decision making.

Aufgaben

• Lead end-to-end claims lifecycle across LTL, brokerage, and multimodal ops.
• Establish claims standards, settlement guidelines, escalation protocols.
• Manage claims severity and financial exposure with governance.
• Ensure compliance with Carmack Amendment and regulatory standards.
• Partner with Legal, Risk, Insurance to manage high-exposure claims.
• Develop and supervise a geographically dispersed claims team.
• Define KPIs and dashboards for executive reporting.
• Analyze claims trends to identify risk reduction opportunities.
• Drive continuous improvement in investigations and customer communication.
• Maintain enterprise-wide claims policies and procedures.
