Elsevier is seeking a senior product-focused leader in New York to drive market strategy, competitive intelligence, and pricing for cheminformatics products like Reaxys. You will blend deep chemistry knowledge with market insights to guide investment decisions and sharpen market positioning.

You will engage with strategy, sales enablement, and marketing to shape go-to-market plans, pricing structures, and compelling value propositions for global audiences.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level degree in chemistry or related field is required.
• Demonstrated strength in market understanding and translating insights into product strategy.
• Pricing and packaging strategy experience for B2B software or scientific information products.
• Experience with pricing governance, discounting and deal structures.
• Experience working with sales organizations on enablement and deals.
• Fluency in synthesizing qualitative and quantitative inputs into clear recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Own ongoing competitive product intelligence for Reaxys and related cheminformatics features and data analysis.
• Partner with management to assess and prioritize product investment based on market analysis.
• Serve as chemistry domain and cheminformatics market expert for marketing and collateral.
• Support sales strategy, objection handling, and value proposition delivery.
• Lead pricing analysis and governance for discounts and deals.
• Plan and execute go-to-market launches with marketing, sales and customer success.
• Monitor sales execution trends and advise on improvements.
• Represent the organization to senior leadership and external industry communities.
