Job summary

PENN Entertainment is seeking a Director of Security to lead the Security department, directing operations, staffing and safety programs for the property. You will oversee scheduling, reporting, compliance and guest service while coordinating with Risk, Legal, and regulatory bodies.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree plus 5+ years in security with leadership experience; strong organizational, communication and reporting skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, criminal justice or related field.
• 5+ years of Security or police experience with 3+ years in leadership preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook).
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Directs overall operations and staff of the Security department and manages goals and performance.
• Supervise security management and conduct daily briefings.
• Schedule management staff for events, holidays and meetings with regulatory staffing in mind.
• Maintain cost-effective labor scheduling while ensuring guest satisfaction.
• Promote customer service standards and monitor department service goals.
• Prepare, submit and verify all required security reports and train staff in reporting.
