Happy Valley Casino in State College, PA is seeking a Director of Security to lead the Security Department and drive the strategic direction for asset protection, guest safety, and regulatory compliance.

The role requires strong leadership, extensive casino security knowledge, and a commitment to ethics, with responsibilities spanning investigations, training, budgeting, and collaboration with HR and Legal to manage risk and ensure lawful operations.

Qualifications

• Minimum of five (5) years of Security and Asset Protection experience required.
• Minimum of three (3) years of supervisory or management experience required.
• Prior casino security, law enforcement, military, or comparable security leadership experience preferred.
• Thorough knowledge of Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board regulations, Internal Controls, and applicable federal and state laws.

Responsibilities

• Interviewing, hiring, and selecting qualified candidates for the Security Department.
• Monitor and evaluate performance to ensure adherence to policies and regulations.
• Ensure security personnel are trained in procedures, emergency tactics, and conflict resolution.
• Maintain safety of guests, team members, and assets while protecting property.
