Job summary

Hana-Maui Resort in Maui, Hawaii seeks a Beverage Manager to oversee the Paniolo Bar and beverage service across outlets, including hiring, training, scheduling and coaching all bartenders and colleagues. Drive premier mixology concepts while aligning with demand and market trends.

The role leads F&B operations, collaborates on entertainment and activations, manages payroll, inventories and vendor relationships, and ensures top guest satisfaction. Salary range $65,000–$75,000.

Qualifications

• Valid Maui County Liquor Certification
• Valid Driver's License
• Wine/beverage knowledge in upscale settings
• Understanding of modern mixology techniques
• Proven ability to interact effectively with people
• 2+ years of progressive F&B management experience
• Service-oriented with strong presentation skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
• Excellent organizational, interpersonal and administrative skills
• Experience implementing new F&B concepts
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays

Responsibilities

• Plan, manage and execute F&B operations across outlets, including Paniolo Bar, lounges, restaurants and events.
• Collaborate on music and entertainment programming for Paniolo Bar
• Develop activations, concepts and objectives for beverage programs
• Implement and maintain food & beverage sales and marketing programs
• Direct and oversee development of all bartenders and Paniolo Bar colleagues
• Hire, train, empower, coach and review team performance; manage weekly schedules and payroll
• Ensure beverage department meets or exceeds financial targets and maintain inventory controls
• Monitor inventories of liquor, beer, wine and supplies; maintain accountability and controls
• Address guest opportunities to maintain high satisfaction and inclusive environment
• Ensure quality control and adherence to safety and sanitation standards
