Job summary

The Florida Panthers Hockey Club and Amerant Bank Arena seek a collaborative, high-energy leader to serve as Sr. Director, Event Services. This full-time on-site role oversees event logistics for hockey, concerts, family shows, and more, coordinating with many departments and vendors.

Ideal candidates bring 7+ years in event management, expert CAD/AutoCAD ability, and proficiency with 24/7 Software and MS Office. The position requires evenings, weekends, holidays, and on-call availability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Minimum of 7 years of event management experience.
• Expert CAD ability; AutoCAD required.
• Experience with 24/7 Software required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word), Outlook, and MCP platforms.
• Strong project management and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage relationships between arena, Panthers, War Memorial Auditorium, clients, promoters, partners, and vendors.
• Oversee Event Managers and Event Coordinators in the Events Department.
• Develop and build events from production notes and communications.
• Disseminate event information through meetings, event sheets, and walkthroughs.
• Create outlines detailing all event setup needs including venue access, security, and show run times.
