Job Summary

The Florida Panthers and Amerant Bank Arena are seeking a collaborative, high-energy, dedicated, patient, and agile leader to serve as Sr. Director, Event Services. This industry is not for the faint of heart — days can be long, stakeholders can be demanding, and stress is inherent. But it is dynamic and fun. You will collaborate with various departments including Hockey Operations, promoters, Security, Building Operations, Sales, front-line employees, and third-party vendors.

The Sr. Director, Event Services is responsible for managing, monitoring, and supervising the logistical planning and execution of all assigned arena events — Panthers Hockey, concerts, family shows, religious events, sporting events, ice shows, corporate shows, and all other activities scheduled at the venue. For those with 7+ years in this industry, this role is not a step back from directly working events. This is a role that enables the ability to lead people, processes, and system designs that ensure maximum efficiency and quality of experience for all stakeholders, while also directly overseeing a rotational share of Event Management duties. We are looking for someone who leads calmly under pressure and builds people up.
