Job summary

Florida Panthers Hockey Club is seeking a Security Manager for Amerant Bank Arena. Lead a team of security coordinators, supervisors and officers to ensure a safe, secure guest experience across event and non-event days.

Responsibilities include risk management, training, access control, CCTV, budgeting, and liaison with local authorities. A bachelor’s in a related field or equivalent experience is required; strong leadership and 24/7 availability are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in criminal justice, crisis management, sports management, or related field; OR HS diploma with 7+ years experience.
• 4+ years of managerial-level experience in security or event operations.
• Experience managing large distributed part-time staff (100+ personnel).
• Knowledge of arena/public venue security regulations and incident response.

Responsibilities

• Oversee 24/7 security operations across event and non-event days.
• Direct event-day security staffing, post assignments, and supervision for 300+ part-time personnel and 12 full-time staff.
• Coordinate with police/EMS and NHL security; manage access control and CCTV operations.
