Job summary

The Florida Panthers Hockey Club is seeking a seasoned Security Manager at Amerant Bank Arena to lead a team of coordinators, supervisors, and officers. You will plan, direct, and review security across event days and non-event days to ensure a safe, secure guest experience.

You will manage credentialing, CCTV, and access control, coordinate with police and NHL security, and oversee budgeting, training, and emergency preparedness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in criminal justice, crisis management, sports management, or a related field.
• 5+ years of managerial experience in security operations.
• Experience managing large distributed part-time workforces (100+).
• Ability to operate in a fast-paced, high-visibility environment and coordinate with police/fire departments.

Responsibilities

• Manage 24/7 security operations for Amerant Bank Arena across event and non-event days.
• Plan and direct event-day security, staffing 300+ part-time personnel and 12 full-time staff.
• Lead part-time supervisors, provide direction and performance feedback across zones.
• Coordinate event-day prep, planning, deployment, and checklists with leadership.
• Develop and implement safety programs, access control policies, and emergency plans.
• Oversee credentialing, CCTV, and incident reporting; manage investigations.
• Liaise with local police, fire, NHL security on event days and during incidents.
• Develop training SOPs and certification pipelines; manage equipment and inventory.
