Job summary

Complex is seeking a senior analytics leader to turn complex data into clear business insights and strategic action. You will work across eCommerce, Content, Advertising, and Live Events, building a high-performing analytics team and partnering with executive leadership to shape decisions and strategy.

You will use AI-native approaches to accelerate analysis, automate repetitive work, and drive measurable outcomes.

Qualifications

• :
• 10+ years of experience in data analytics or related field.
• 4+ years of people management in analytics.
• Strong SQL and scripting (Python or R).
• Experience across multiple business functions and data sources.
• Experience with BI tools like Tableau or Looker.
• AI-native mindset and ability to apply AI tools to analytics.
• Ability to translate data findings into strategic recommendations.

Responsibilities

• : Turn data into business outcomes by partnering with Complex’s executive leadership and functional leaders to answer the questions that matter most to the business.
• Serve as a strategic analytics partner across eCommerce, Content, Advertising, and Live Events, developing a holistic understanding of how our businesses operate and how they influence one another.
• Lead and develop a team of three analysts, establishing a culture focused on curiosity, business impact, rigorous thinking, and continuous learning.
• Translate ambiguous business problems into actionable analysis, determining data needed, challenged assumptions, and feasible conclusions.
• Use AI and modern analytical tools to move quickly, leveraging automation and scripting to increase speed and effectiveness.
• Identify opportunities and risks by analyzing trends, customer behavior, and performance, translating findings into recommendations.
• Influence business strategy and priorities, helping leadership understand why things happen and what to do about it.
• Shape the roadmap for Analytics, prioritizing work by potential business impact.
• Partner with Data Engineering to ensure data infrastructure supports accurate, accessible, and scalable analysis.
• Establish the right balance between speed and rigor, knowing when quick answers suffice.
• Simplify complexity into clear narratives and recommendations for executives and cross-functional teams.
