Job summary

UnitedHealth Group seeks a Director of AI Transformation & Business Modernization to lead enterprise-wide AI-enabled transformation initiatives. You will partner with C-level executives, technology leaders, and product teams to identify opportunities, set roadmaps, and drive change that improves efficiency and customer experiences.

The role requires exceptional leadership, executive communication, and a deep understanding of emerging technologies and operating-model transformation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field; advanced degree preferred.
• 10+ years leading large-scale business and technology transformations.
• Experience managing enterprise programs with multiple stakeholders and sponsors.
• Proven ability to drive organizational change and operating model transformations.
• Experience with AI, analytics, automation, and digital transformation.
• Strong ability to influence executives and communicate strategically.
• Excellent program management, prioritization, and delivery skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead enterprise AI transformation initiatives from strategy through execution.
• Partner with CEOs, business leaders, and technology executives to shape opportunities.
• Develop roadmaps aligning strategy, outcomes, investments, and change activities.
• Establish governance, reporting, milestones, risks, and issue resolution processes.
• Translate complex concepts into executive-ready communications and actions.
• Foster innovation and future-state design across critical functions.
• Collaborate with architects, data scientists, product teams, and delivery leaders.
