Job summary

Redfin is seeking a senior data analytics leader to manage a team of four to five data scientists and BI engineers in a hybrid role based in Seattle or Detroit. You will design scalable analytics assets in Snowflake and deliver self-serve Tableau dashboards while embedding AI into workflows.

You will partner with Product, Engineering, and Finance, define the analytics roadmap, and translate complex questions into actionable recommendations for senior leaders.

Qualifications

• 9+ years of analytics experience, preferably in a data science role.
• 5+ years directly leading data science teams.
• Strong statistical and causal reasoning foundation.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong commercial and financial acumen with budgeting know-how.
• Experience leading AI-assisted analytics teams and scalable BI work.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of 4–5 data scientists and BI engineers.
• Be an active thought partner to senior data scientists, asking the right questions.
• Embed AI into analytics workflows with appropriate guardrails.
• Design and maintain scalable Snowflake assets and self-serve Tableau analytics.
• Partner with Product, Engineering, and Finance on cross-functional problems.
• Set analytical strategy for product investments and roadmap.
• Translate business questions into clear analytical plans and executive recommendations.
