Job summary

TwelveLabs is hiring a Head of Applications to build the application layer atop our multimodal video models and shared infrastructure. You will decide which users and workflows to serve, identify high-impact use cases, and drive products from discovery through growth.

You will own activation, engagement, and monetization, working with design, engineering, and go-to-market teams to ship practical, AI-powered applications for non-technical users.

Qualifications

• Experience shipping zero-to-one products with measurable user value.
• Strong product judgment and ability to simplify complex tech for users.
• Technical fluency to work with engineers on architecture, latency, and cost.

Responsibilities

• Set strategy for TwelveLabs' application layer and target workflows to serve.
• Identify a focused wedge via customer discovery, prototyping, and market testing.
• Ship AI-native applications on top of core models and infrastructure with defined evals and guardrails.
• Own activation, engagement, retention, monetization, and customer value of shipped applications.
• Build a fast feedback loop from usage data to better workflows and experiences.
• Define capabilities, APIs, latency, quality, and reliability for the app layer.
• Partner with Design, Research, Engineering, Product, Commercial, Revenue, and Partnerships to move from prototype to adoption.
• Recruit and lead a lean, high-performing team and maintain speed and accountability.
• Maintain a balance of speed, craft, direct user contact, and lean team structure.
