Job summary

Lightspeed Commerce seeks a Senior Director, Agentic Engineering to shape and execute the multi-year vision for agentic platform capabilities. You will lead cross-functional teams building reusable agents, orchestration, context access, integrations, and governance to empower Lightspeed’s Product & Technology groups in AI-enabled product development.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of experience and a Bachelor’s degree in CS or related field.
• Proven track record of building high-performing engineering teams through managers and staff-plus engineers.
• Experience in defining and scaling internal platforms or infrastructure products.

Responsibilities

• Define the multi-year vision, strategy, and roadmap for agentic engineering at Lightspeed.
• Lead teams responsible for shared agentic platform capabilities and governance.
• Create an extensible platform enabling cross-functional teams to adopt agentic workflows.
• Drive adoption and change across a global organization with measurable operating-model improvements.
• Own platform outcomes: adoption, usage, experience, cycle time, quality, cost, and business impact.
