New York Cancer and Blood Specialists (NYCBS) in Brooklyn seeks a Head Nurse (RN) to lead nursing operations across shifts, supervise staff, assign patient care, and uphold safety and service excellence.

Required: valid New York State RN license, at least two years in a managerial role, BLS certification, superb assessment and communication skills, and EMR proficiency preferred. Reliable transport to NYCBS locations is a must.

Qualifications

• BLS certification required.
• Excellent assessment, communication, and organizational skills.
• EMR proficiency preferred.
• Knowledge of standard precautions and PPE when handling cytotoxic agents.

Including and not limited to, assigning patient assignments, medication orders, training of new hires and management of a safe environment for staff and patients alike with focus on providing efficient, timely and knowledgeable care while ensuring patient satisfaction in every interaction.
