Job summary

PM Hotel Group is seeking a Floor Inspector in Herndon, VA to ensure our housekeeping team delivers a tidy, welcoming guest room experience. You will lead room attendants, maintain schedules, and uphold standards to create a home-like environment for guests.

Ideal candidates have 1–3 years of related experience, a High School diploma, and strong people skills focused on service excellence. Availability for varying shifts, including nights and weekends, is required.

Qualifications

• At least 1–3 years of related housekeeping experience.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Strong people skills and customer service mindset.

Responsibilities

• Serving as team leaders for the entire housekeeping staff including assigning and reviewing work.
• Overseeing staff schedule, inspecting and approving public areas and guest rooms for cleanliness, overseeing laundry, ensuring timely turnover of checkout rooms, and interacting with hotel guests in a polite and positive manner.
• Providing training and guidance for housekeeping staff on hotel Standard Operating Procedures and departmental standards.
• Keeping purchasing costs and labor expenses in check.
