Job summary

Grey Oaks Country Club in Naples, FL is seeking a Head Golf Professional to lead daily golf operations, member programming, and team development. You will oversee the golf shop, tournaments, and club events, delivering exceptional member experiences and maintaining our traditions of hospitality and service excellence.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years in private club golf leadership, PGA Class A status, and strong interpersonal skills. A Bachelor’s Degree is preferred.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of progressive leadership in a high-end private club golf operation.
• Experience as First Assistant Golf Professional or Head Golf Professional preferred.
• Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• PGA Class A Membership in good standing.
• Strong leadership, coaching, and team development skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Serve as ambassador, cultivate member and guest relationships and deliver hospitality across golf operations.
• Oversee daily golf operations, including golf shop, practice facilities, tournaments, tee sheet management, and member play activities.
• Execute and support member tournaments, club championships, leagues, golf outings, and events to boost engagement.
• Ensure golf operations, facilities, and service standards reflect Grey Oaks excellence.
• Evaluate performance and implement initiatives to improve efficiency and member experience.
• Lead, coach, and develop golf operations team members.
• Manage staffing, scheduling, payroll, and labor resources for service levels and fiscal responsibility.
• Assist with golf shop operations, including merchandising, inventory controls, and POS systems.
• Utilize Golf Genius Premium and other tech for tournament management and reporting.
• Contribute to budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning.
• Support player development programming through instruction, clinics, and junior golf initiatives.
• Partner with instructional leadership to enhance programming and participation.
• Represent the Club at play and events, strengthening club culture.
• Oversee planning and enhancement of all group play programming.
• Observe safety procedures and ensure a safe workplace.
