Job summary

Grey Oaks Country Club in Naples, Florida is seeking a Head Golf Professional to lead daily operations and deliver exceptional member experiences. You will oversee golf shop, tee sheet, events, and instructional programming, while coaching staff and managing budgets.

This role requires a strong hospitality mindset and a track record of elevating service standards in a private club. Weekend availability is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years of progressive leadership in a high-end private club golf operation.
• Experience as a First Assistant Golf Professional or Head Golf Professional preferred.
• Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
• PGA Class A Membership in good standing required.

Responsibilities

• Serve as an ambassador of Grey Oaks Country Club by cultivating member and guest relationships and delivering exceptional hospitality.
• Oversee daily golf operations, including golf shop, practice facilities, tournament administration, tee sheet management, and member play activities.
• Execute and support member tournaments, club championships, leagues, golf outings, and special events.
• Ensure golf operations and facilities reflect excellence and traditions.
• Evaluate operational performance and implement initiatives to improve efficiency and service.
• Lead, coach, and develop golf operations staff through training and performance management.
• Foster a collaborative, accountable team culture focused on member service.
• Manage staffing, scheduling, payroll, and labor resources to maintain service levels and fiscal discipline.
• Assist with shop operations, merchandising, inventory controls, and POS systems.
• Use Golf Genius Premium and other platforms to support tournament management and reporting.
