Head Coach at selfpublishing.com based in Austin, TX, is an in-office, full-time leadership role. You will coach and develop the coaching team, drive renewals, and improve author outcomes across our products.

You will lead group coaching, run workshops, review calls, and partner with Author Success and R&D to enhance content and user experience. A track record of top performance and 45+ hours work week are required.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of coaching and/or management experience.
• Proven track record of coaching and facilitation with tangible results.
• Experience facilitating virtual or in person events and workshops.
• Proficient tech skills, including Asana, Slack, HubSpot, Zoom, and Google Drive.
• Perfect written English and excellent spoken English.
• Ready to work 45+ hours a week.

Responsibilities

• Grow renewals: Drive 30% YoY renewal growth by increasing renewal and launch call sets.
• Drive author results: Help 45%+ authors publish and achieve program results.
• Create raving fans: Maintain an NPS of 55+ with excellent author experiences.
• Coach authors directly: Lead group coaching calls, workshops, and 1-on-1 sessions.
• Develop the coaching team: Run call reviews and create development plans.
• Improve the program: Collaborate to improve content, UX, and value.
• Spotlight wins: Share standout author stories quarterly.

To drive results, renewals, and referrals by building the best coaching team in the business.

As Head Coach at selfpublishing.com, you'll maximize the performance of our coaching team through coaching, training, call reviews, and constant improvement. You'll create, execute, and improve our coaching program across every product we offer, both existing and new, and help more authors publish, succeed, and keep working with us.

This is a player coach role: about 70% hands on coaching with authors and 30% leading and developing our coaches.

What You'll Do

• Grow renewals: Drive 30% year over year renewal growth by increasing renewal and launch call sets across the coaching team.
• Drive author results: Help 45%+ of authors publish and achieve their program's promised result.
• Create Raving Fans: Maintain a Net Promoter Score (NPS) of 55+ by giving every author an experience on par with Disney or Chick fil A.
• Coach authors directly: Lead group coaching calls, workshops, and one on one sessions as a core part of your week.
• Develop the coaching team: Run call reviews for every coach and every call type, build promotion and development plans, and continue each coach's individual training.
• Improve the program: Partner with our Author Success, Community, and R&D teams to improve course content, the user experience, and author lifetime value.
• Spotlight wins: Identify standout author stories and testimonials to share with our team every quarter.

What You Bring

Required

• 2+ years of coaching and/or management experience
• A proven track record of coaching and facilitation with tangible results
• Experience facilitating virtual or in person events and workshops

• Base pay: $70,000 to $100,000 annually, based on experience
