selfpublishing.com, based in Austin, TX, is seeking a Speaker & Sales Representative to represent the company at live events and drive new author enrollments. The role combines stage speaking with sales activities, requiring high energy and a proven sales record.

You will travel to 6–20 events yearly, enroll authors on-site, and support sales between events by booking sessions or forming partnerships. This in-office, full-time role emphasizes growth and transformation through books.

As our Speaker & Sales Representative, you'll represent selfpublishing.com on stage at 6 to 20 live events per year, sharing our mission and enrolling new authors. Speaking will make up 20% to 50% of your role. The rest of your time, you'll drive sales for us as an SDR, business development rep, or sales rep, depending on your skillset.

What You Bring

Required

• Experience speaking or presenting at live events
• 3+ years of top performing sales experience
• A track record of hitting or beating quota
• Strong CRM and sales process proficiency
• Willingness to travel 6 to 20 times per year
• Living within 30 minutes of Westlake, Austin

Bonus Points If You Have

• 5+ years of high performance sales experience
• $1M+ in total lifetime sales
• Experience with high volume, low ticket sales ($5K or less, short sales cycles)
• Experience as a paid or featured speaker at conferences or events

• On target earnings: $80,000 to $150,000+ annually
• Base pay: $35,000 to $50,000, plus incentive compensation
