selfpublishing.com is hiring a Speaker & Sales Representative to represent the company at 6 to 20 live events annually, enrolling authors on the spot and driving sales between events. The role is in Austin, TX, in-office, full-time, with travel across the country as needed.

The ideal candidate has a proven sales record, exceptional speaking skills, and a willingness to travel. You will collaborate with a driven sales and marketing team and benefit from comprehensive training and healthcare.

As our Speaker & Sales Representative, you'll represent selfpublishing.com on stage at 6 to 20 live events per year, sharing our mission and enrolling new authors. Speaking will make up 20% to 50% of your role. The rest of your time, you'll drive sales for us as an SDR, business development rep, or sales rep, depending on your skillset.

What You'll Do

What You Bring

Required:

• Experience speaking or presenting at live events
• 3+ years of top performing sales experience
• A track record of hitting or beating quota
• Strong CRM and sales process proficiency
• Willingness to travel 6 to 20 times per year
• Living within 30 minutes of Westlake, Austin

Bonus Points If You Have:

• 5+ years of high performance sales experience
• $1M+ in total lifetime sales
• Experience with high volume, low ticket sales ($5K or less, short sales cycles)
• Experience as a paid or featured speaker at conferences or events

Compensation & Benefits

• On target earnings: $80,000 to $150,000+ annually
• Base pay: $35,000 to $50,000, plus incentive compensation
• Proven pay structure: Same compensation model as our sales team, so your earnings grow directly with your results

Location & Hours

This is a full time, in office role (45+ hours a week) based at our Austin, TX headquarters, with travel to 6 to 20 events per year.
