Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years old with a high school diploma or GED and 1–2 years of cashiering experience with leadership training.
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Outgoing, friendly demeanor with strong customer interaction skills.
• Ability to operate front-end equipment: register, calculator, scanner.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities; able to multi-task and stay organized.
• Must lift/carry up to 30 lbs. and move carts as required; attention to detail with numbers.

Responsibilities

• Ensure excellent customer service by visiting registers and guiding cashiers.
• Assist with customer issues at the register.
• Schedule store sweeps and monitor cash register supply levels; maintain restroom and parking lot cleanliness.
• Maintain visibility of exit doors for security and loss prevention.
• Schedule and oversee meal/rest breaks per policy and state requirements.
• Assist in hiring and training of new cashiers and disciplinary actions.
• Thrive in a fast-paced environment and contribute to team success.
