Sprouts Farmers Market in Bakersfield, CA is seeking a Head Cashier to lead a fast-paced front-end team and deliver outstanding customer service. You’ll supervise cashiers, assist with operations, train new staff, and ensure smooth register performance while upholding safety and cleanliness standards.

The role requires 1–2 years of cashiering with leadership training, 18+ and a flexible schedule including nights and weekends. Join a team focused on healthy living and community service.

Formación

• 18+ years of age with a high school diploma or GED and 1–2 years of cashiering experience with leadership training.
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Outgoing, friendly demeanor with strong customer interaction skills.
• Operates front-end equipment: register, calculator, scanner.
• Strong communication and ability to take direction in a team environment.
• Able to perform repetitious tasks, multitask, and stay organized.
• Capable of lifting up to 30 lbs. and moving carts up to 35 lbs.
• Proficient cash handling and numerical accuracy.

Responsabilidades

• Supervise a team of cashiers and assist with daily operations.
• Proactively visit registers to provide direction and support to cashiers and courtesy clerks.
• Address customer assistance issues at the register.
• Schedule store sweeps, monitor cash register supplies, and maintain restroom and parking lot cleanliness.
• Monitor exit door visibility for security and loss prevention.
• Schedule and enforce breaks per policy and state requirements.
• Assist in hiring and training new cashiers and take steps for disciplinary actions.
