Lowe's is hiring a front-end cashier in New Jersey to deliver outstanding customer service and assist customers with locating and loading merchandise. You will operate the cash register, process transactions, and ensure accuracy in pricing and receipts while following Lowe's policies.

Responsibilities include greeting customers, helping with product questions, and supporting associates to maintain a safe, clean store.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent years of experience in lieu of education requirement, if applicable.
• Less than 1 Year Experience using a computer, including inputting, accessing, modifying, or outputting information.
• Less than 1 Year Experience using common retail technology, such as smart phones and tablets.
• 1 Year Retail experience as a cashier.
• Ability to obtain sales related licensure or registration as may be required by law.

Responsabilités

• Provides SMART customer service at all times through Lowe's customer service policies, procedures and programs.
• Seeks out customers to understand needs and assists in locating, demonstrating, selecting, carrying, and loading merchandise.
• Listens and responds to customer and employee questions and guides them through projects when needed.
• Communicates information to customers regarding stock, special order merchandise, features, and warranty information.
• Uses a cash register to process sales transactions, returns, and refunds according to company guidelines.
• Inspects returned merchandise for damages and assists in loading orders.
• Looks up product information and price matches to verify prices.
• Records items used in the store and completes daily reconciliation duties.
