Job summary

Lowe’s is seeking a customer-focused associate to support the Front End Team in Kingston, NY. You will assist customers, operate the cash register, and help with loading merchandise while maintaining store standards.

The role emphasizes learning Lowe’s policies, providing accurate information, and collaborating with team members to ensure a smooth checkout experience. Flexible hours may be available with opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent years of experience in lieu of education requirement.
• Less than 1 Year Experience using a computer.
• Less than 1 Year Experience using common retail technology.
• 1 Year Retail experience as a cashier.
• Ability to obtain sales related licensure or registration as may be required by law.

Responsibilities

• Provides SMART customer service at all times through Lowe’s customer service policies, procedures and programs.
• Seeks out customers to understand needs and assists in locating, demonstrating, selecting, carrying, and loading merchandise.
• Responds knowledgeably and promptly to customer and employee questions and guides customers through projects in-store.
• Communicates information to customers regarding stock, special order merchandise, feature benefits, application, and warranty information.
• Coaches and trains associates in departmental duties or sales opportunities.
