• Ability to obtain sales-related licensure or registration as required by law

Responsibilities

• Provides SMART customer service at all times through Lowe's policies and programs.
• Seeks out customers to understand needs and assists in locating, demonstrating, selecting, carrying, and loading merchandise.
• Listens to and responds to customer and employee questions, guiding them through projects as needed.
• Coaches and trains associates in departmental duties and sales opportunities.
• Uses a cash register to process sales transactions, returns and refunds
• Assists in line vesting and ensures adequate checkout coverage when necessary
• Prepares register area at start/end of shift and validates equipment functionality
• Inspects returned merchandise for damages
• Enters and processes customer orders and loading tickets
• Looks up product information and price matches as needed
• Records store-use items and performs daily cash reconciliation
