Job summary

Congruex is seeking a Bore Operator to run horizontal directional drilling and other heavy equipment for underground utility construction. You will perform boring, support installation activities, and ensure equipment is maintained while delivering high-quality results.

You will work with construction crews, project managers, telecom clients, and utility partners, contributing to safe operations, quality workmanship, and dependable project execution.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• CDL with tanker endorsement or willingness to obtain.
• DOT Medical Card required.
• Experience operating HDD and heavy equipment near utilities.
• Familiarity with trenchless utility installation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate HDD and other heavy machinery safely and efficiently.
• Load, unload, transport, set up, and operate equipment.
• Perform daily inspections and preventative maintenance.
• Identify utilities before drilling and develop safe plans.
• Assist conduit placement and trench work as needed.
• Maintain safety compliance per OSHA/ANSI standards.
