Job summary

The Information Systems Programmer/Analyst provides technical and functional support for the Florida Legislature's Human Capital Management (HCM) systems. The role analyzes business and technical requirements, configures and tests HCM solutions, coordinates implementation projects, and delivers user training and ongoing support.

The position reports to the HR Office within the Office of Legislative Services, collaborating with IT and business users to ensure reliable, scalable HCM operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, MIS, mathematics, engineering, or related field (or equivalent progressive IT experience).
• Knowledge of HCM systems terminology, implementation lifecycle, and information systems operations.
• Ability to analyze complex business and technical requirements and develop system solutions.
• Experience with system implementation, testing, data conversion, and integrations.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills and ability to provide user training.
• Experience with enterprise HCM system implementation or replacement (preferred).
