Job summary

NewtekOne is a financial holding company delivering SMB solutions across the United States. The Payroll Implementation Specialist will support the SVP of Payroll in implementing iSolved and onboarding clients from existing payroll or prior HCM systems.

Requires 4+ years in payroll within a PSB, strong project management and client-facing skills; bilingual is a plus. Competitive salary with bonus and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• High School or equivalent and 4+ years payroll in a PSB.
• Bachelors degree in accounting or related field preferred.
• Experience in PSB with multi‑pay groups and cycles.
• Strong influencing and closing skills.
• AP/CPP or FPC certification preferred.
• Extensive knowledge of federal/state payroll taxes.
• Experience with iSolved and other major payroll systems.
• Excellent client relationship building skills.
• Experience handling mid-to-large payrolls.
• Implementation and project management experience.
• Attention to accuracy and confidentiality.
• Proficient with MS Office; advanced Excel.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Implementations to keep projects on schedule.
• Attend implementation, Sales, and Payroll Team meetings.
• Maintain client engagement through implementation and transfer.
• Document the process; update checklists, timelines, plans.
• Implement iSolved HCM solutions per Newtek guidelines.
• Help clients streamline payroll and improve automation.
• Coordinate resources for client projects and improvements.
• Provide detailed processing notes to Client Services.
