Job summary

One Vision in Clear Lake, IA is hiring Full-Time Team Leads for our Home and Community-Based Services (HCBS) program in Clear Lake. This role balances hands-on care with leadership responsibilities and offers a path to make a direct impact in the lives of individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

You will supervise a small team, lead daily living support, coach staff to meet quality standards, and ensure safety and accreditation compliance.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED with 5+ years of relevant experience OR a BA/BS in a human services field with 2+ years of experience.
• Prior leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
• Medication Manager Certification or willingness to obtain within 6 months.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Basic computer literacy.
• Valid driver''s license and proof of auto insurance.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and assist with mobility support.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and support a small team (up to 5 Direct Support Professionals).
• Lead by example in daily living support: hygiene, meals, housekeeping, and medication assistance.
• Help individuals manage personal finances and make independent choices.
• Coach and train your team to meet One Vision's quality standards.
• Ensure compliance with safety and accreditation guidelines.
• Rotate on-call responsibilities as part of a collaborative leadership team.
