Progress Industries is hiring an HCBS Manager to oversee daily operations across locations and ensure high-quality programming compliant with regulations. You will supervise Direct Support Staff, manage scheduling, and monitor budgets and documentation within a nonprofit setting in Newton, IA.

The role requires leadership, strong communication, and problem-solving skills, with flexibility to work evenings/weekends and travel between sites using a personal vehicle.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in social or behavioral sciences plus 1 year of relevant experience, or a HS diploma plus 5 years of Human Services experience.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
• Must have a valid Iowa Driver's License with good driving record.

Mansioni

• Oversee day-to-day operations of assigned locations and caseloads, ensuring quality programming and regulatory compliance.
• Supervise HCBS Direct Support Staff and report to HCBS Senior Coordinator.
• Oversee hiring, training, and evaluation of staff.
• Ensure compliance with policies and state regulations.
• Conduct orientation and skill assessment for new persons served.
• Maintain a safe living environment for persons served.
• Schedule staff for consistent care and coverage.
• Manage staff budgeting procedures and financial tracking.
• Ensure timely, accurate documentation and reporting.
• Conduct home visits, team meetings, and compliance checks.
• Participate in on-call rotation for emergency support.
