Job summary

One Vision seeks a Smart Living Team Leader in Clear Lake, IA to oversee daily operations of assigned homes and support a compassionate, tech-enabled team. You will lead coaching, staffing, and the implementation of assistive technology to empower individuals toward greater independence.

The role emphasizes leadership, problem solving, and team development within a safety-sensitive environment. A driver’s license and MS Office proficiency are required as part of daily duties.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a human services-related field plus at least 2 years of experience supporting individuals with disabilities
• High school diploma or GED plus at least 5 years of relevant experience

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and support team members in assigned homes
• Coordinate day-to-day operations and ensure appropriate staffing coverage
• Promote a technology-forward approach across HCBS services
• Partner with Assistive Technology Coordinator to implement tools and solutions that support greater independence
• Collaborate with HR and leadership on hiring, onboarding, coaching, performance management, and team development
• Build a positive, respectful, and accountable team environment
• Step in to provide direct support when needed
• Help maintain safe, high-quality, person-centered services
• Conduct investigations, document findings, and communicate with leadership as needed
• Ensure electronic documentation is accurate, complete, and submitted on time
• Support organizational policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
