The U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs Portland VA Health Care System seeks a Home Based Primary Care Medical Director to lead administrative and clinical HBPC activities across Washington and Oregon, including Vancouver, WA.

Board-certified physicians with HBPC or geriatrics/IM experience are preferred. Responsibilities include supervision of HBPC staff, development of performance plans, and collaboration with Primary Care, Pharmacy, Nutrition and Social Work; travel to sites as needed.

Formación

• MD/DO with current full and unrestricted license.
• ABMS or AOA board certification in the appropriate specialty.
• Residency training approved by VA/ACGME or AOA.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee HBPC administration and clinical duties.
• Direct HBPC physicians, nurse practitioners, and other staff as directed.
• Develop and monitor HBPC performance plans and quality improvement activities.
• Collaborate with Primary Care, Pharmacy, Nutrition and Social Work to meet goals.
• Travel to HBPC sites in WA/OR and provide education and research input.
