Job summary

Micron Technology, Inc. in Boise, Idaho, seeks a HIG Product Engineer for the Media Health team to bridge DE, TE and PE, developing new test strategies and features for memory devices.

You will work across design, test and fabrication to ensure silicon performance matches expectations and to advance AI-driven testing approaches. The role emphasizes hands-on bench testing, pre-silicon validation, and root-cause analysis, with opportunities to train new engineers and influence product quality

Qualifications

• Master's degree or equivalent in CE/EE with product engineering experience.
• Experience building digital circuits and ASIC testing using scan tools.
• Proficiency in Python and C programming.
• Custom BIST APG programming for memory testing.
• Experience with Linux operating system and bench testing.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with DE to validate test strategies and circuits for Test.
• Support pre-silicon checklist tasks and tester resource identification.
• Adjust test programs to ensure silicon performance aligns with expectations.
• Aid TE with test program debugging, data analysis, and AI-assisted testing.
• Assist fabrication sites and process integration with test creation.
• Debug failures using test data and analysis to improve testing strategies.
• Supervise yields and investigate root causes when projections fail.
• Provide on-the-job training and act as product-specific contact.
• Develop AI-powered tools to advance processes and testing features.
