Job summary

Micron Technology, Inc. in Texas is seeking a Design Validation Product Engineer to drive validation of high bandwidth memory (HBM) products.

You will bridge design, manufacturing, test and quality teams, owning the validation activities from design through bring-up and qualification to volume production. The role requires understanding JEDEC specs, silicon validation, and collaboration with multiple teams; experience with HDL languages (Verilog/VHDL/SystemVerilog) and scripting (Python/C/C++)

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering or MS with equivalent experience.
• Experience with schematic, simulation, data analysis, lab debugging, or pattern manipulation.
• Demonstrated efficiency and time management for effective work.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
• Ability to work well in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Understand JEDEC specifications for HBM.
• Craft internal architecture documentation and schematic/layout knowledge of builds.
• Perform silicon validation of HBM designs and debug via hardware/software in lab, simulations, and data analysis.
• Collaborate with PE team and other multi-functional groups for success.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of validation methodologies and workflows.
