Job summary

Micron Technology is seeking an HBM Design Architecture Intern to contribute to early-stage research and performance modeling for next-generation AI memory systems. You will work closely with senior engineers to analyze memory subsystems and memory bandwidth.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Master’s degree or a PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Programming experience in Python and C/C++ or similar languages.
• Able to work onsite for 6 months and cannot graduate before the internship ends.

Responsibilities

• Research emerging trends in compute, networking, and storage to forecast AI workload evolution.
• Support HBM architecture analysis by collecting bandwidth, latency, and memory requirements data.
• Assist in developing or refining simulation frameworks modeling AI cluster performance and memory behavior.
• Build trend dashboards using CSP benchmarks and industry datasets.
• Collaborate with mentors to explore architectural opportunities for next‑gen AI systems.
