Job summary

Qualifications

• BS/BA degree in Transportation, Logistics, Chemistry, Engineering or applicable field.
• Minimum 5 years' experience in domestic and international transportation regulations, rail/highway/marine operations, pipeline, customs or related field.
• Ability to operate effectively when faced with changing circumstances or uncertainty.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Willingness to travel 25% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Maintain knowledge of federal, state, local, and international transportation regulations for all modes.
• Interpret regulatory changes and communicate compliance strategies to facilities and business groups.
• Act as backup contact for transportation regulatory agencies and respond to information requests and notices of violations.
• Provide day-to-day regulatory guidance for hazardous shipments and review product safety data sheets.
• Develop procedures and training materials for transportation topics and participate in audits.
