Job summary

AMS Fulfillment seeks a Logistics and Hazmat Compliance Supervisor to oversee shipping, transportation operations, and hazmat compliance across locations. You will supervise daily logistics activities, audits, and ensure DOT, IATA, IMDG compliance while maintaining hazmat training and documentation.

The role requires strong knowledge of hazmat regulations, data analysis, and cross-functional collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Hazmat regulatory knowledge (IATA, 49 CFR, IMDG required).
• Continuous improvement experience (SixSigma, Lean, Kaizen preferred).
• Experience with ProShip TMS and WMS systems.
• Familiarity with Harmonized Tariff Schedule.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Strong analytical, cost-analysis and transportation network understanding.

Responsibilities

• Supervise transportation operations and daily reporting.
• Monitor costs, carrier performance, and service levels.
• Analyze shipping data to identify savings and risks.
• Lead client and carrier reporting and business reviews.
• Oversee ProShip setup, rate shopping groups, and audits.
• Ensure compliance with DOT, IATA, IMDG hazmat rules.
• Maintain hazmat certifications and training for staff.
• Coordinate hazmat documentation and inspections.
