R+L Carriers is hiring a Safety Hazmat Technician at our Chicago, IL service center. You will perform emergency response, hazmat cleanup, site remediation, and decontamination while upholding the company’s high safety standards.
This role requires a 40-hour OSHA HAZWOPER certification, physical fitness for heavy lifting, and strong teamwork. You will lead safety efforts, document procedures, and coordinate training across departments.
R+L Carriers has an immediate opening for a Safety Hazmat Technician in our Chicago, IL service center office. Reporting to the Director of Safety, the Hazmat Technician is responsible for the performance of tasks associated with emergency response, hazardous and non-hazardous materials clean-up, site-remediation, equipment decontamination, handling of hazardous materials, and other duties as required.
