Job summary

V2X, Inc. is seeking a Shipping/Receiving Clerk (HAZMAT) to manage clerical and physical tasks for shipments at the Fort Bragg installation. You will verify paperwork, inspect incoming and outgoing goods, and coordinate with drivers and internal teams.

The role requires HAZMAT certification within six months, a valid REAL ID driver's license, and the ability to obtain a CAC and security clearances as needed. Previous freight experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Must obtain current HAZMAT Certification within six months.
• Must pass a pre-employment drug screen.
• Must have a valid REAL ID Driver’s License with no restrictions.
• Must obtain and maintain a NACI Tier 1 Public Trust.
• Must obtain and maintain a Common Access Card (CAC).
• Must provide proof of U.S. Citizenship (birth certificate or passport).
• Must maintain driving privileges aboard the Fort Bragg Installation.

Responsibilities

• Verify DD form 1149 / 1348s are accurately completed prior to ordering and arrival of commercial trucks.
• Verify that orders are accurately filled by comparing items and quantities of goods gathered for shipment against documents.
• Ensure shipments are properly packaged, identified with shipping information, and loaded into transporting vehicles.
• Prepare and keep records of goods shipped, e.g., manifests, bills of lading.
• Verify the correctness of incoming shipments by comparing items and quantities unloaded against bills of lading, invoices, manifests, storage receipts, or other records.
• Check for damaged goods; ensure that goods are appropriately identified for routing to departments within the installation.
• Other duties may be assigned to meet organizational/operational objectives.
• Job duties and responsibilities may change due to contractual requirements.
